Vue 3 Reactivity Under The Hood

Marc will talk about how reactivity is solved under the hood, something that you usually wouldn't look into if you're just using Vue to build things.

Web-types or why quick documentation matters

The web development world is evolving fast. A few years ago only a small number of web developers actively used code completion and other coding assistance features. This is no longer the case. Today more and more people understand how much more productive they can be thanks to these features.

Quick documentation is no exception. While it works well for JavaScript, HTML, and other technologies, the same can’t be said about Vue component libraries. In this talk, I’ll share the story behind web-types, a new format created to enable code completion and quick documentation in Vue templates, and show you how it helps make developers much more productive.

Introducing Component Testing with Cypress

We build components for real users -- not for the command line

In this talk we'll show you how harness a real browser and the power of Cypress to render and test your components. We'll break up with fake browser environments like jsdom. Finally, we'll tackle the hardest-to-test components: those with complex animations, expensive child components, and external network requests.

Dynamic from static with the right (JAM)stack

Static is the new dynamic since it’s faster and more secured. However, performance is not only about what we deliver our apps to end users, but also how we plan, develop and deploy them.

Developing a performant static site or app requires the right combination of tools. The right architecture stack optimizes our development process and performance of our static sites on client-side, especially with dynamic content.

So how to find your right stack for your next static project?
How to properly unleash the power of static sites?

Join my talk and let’s find out.

SEO in a Vue.js world

What do a SaaS landing page, blog and e-commerce store have in common?

They should all be found through a search engine, ideally by as many people as possible. Search engine optimization (SEO) can therefore be decisive for the success and also the revenue of your projects.

But when it comes to Vue.js and SEO, there are many controversial opinions about the impact of Vue on SEO efforts.

In my session we will go through the basics of SEO and examine best practices and their implementations with the help of vue-meta and Nuxt.js.
